What is ISO 17024?
ISO/IEC 17024 is an international standard that specifies requirements for bodies operating certification of persons. Certification bodies that comply with this standard demonstrate they operate in a consistent, comparable, and reliable manner.
For inspection professionals, an ISO 17024-accredited certificate provides independent third-party verification of competence — increasingly required on major international projects and by regulatory bodies.
PIC University is working through the accreditation process to become an authorised ISO 17024 certification body for protective coatings inspection, building on our decades of experience with FROSIO certification delivery.
